Big Sword Costume

Big Sword CostumeI don’ t know exactly what this costume is. Must be from some video game or anime… something like that. Still cool anyway though. Can anyone give me a clue in the comments?

I found a picture of what seems to be the same thing, but still no hints as to what it is:

Man in a Cage Costume

Man in a Cage CostumeI think this is one of the classic homemade costumes. It’s actually pretty convincing. As for making it I don’t think it would be too difficult. You could buy a monster costume and stuff it with something to get the top half to stand up straight, then make the cage out of cardboard.

Lego Boba Fett Costume

Lego Boba Fett CostumeWe already had the Boba Fett helmet costume, and here is another variation on the classic star wars costume. Lego Star Wars has been really popular (not sure why), enough to even have a video game made using the lego star wars characters (what’s the point?). Anyway, none of that should detract from this costume at all. It’s a great idea and was executed well. Pretty much everyone will instantly recognize this. If I had a kid, he would be wearing this costume in October.

Real Iron Man Costume

Iron Man Halloween CostumeThis iron man Halloween costume is hilarious! I don’t know how it’s made, but it probably took a really long time. The only problem is – how do you eat through that tiny mouth?

Headless Couple Costume

Headless Halloween CostumeThis is a funny kids Halloween costume, if they or their parents are pretty crafty. It looks like it took a lot of prep but the end result is funny. It’s gonna be hard to walk around gathering candy with no arms though.

Flying Spaghetti Monster

Flying Spaghetti Monster CostumeThis is a great costume if you’re a nerd. In that case you will know how to rig up lights to the eyes and everything. Plus, your friends will get the joke. If you end up at a party of religious people get ready to explain what the heck your costume is every 5 minutes. Overall, well done though.

Facebook Profile Costume

Facebook Halloween CostumeCreative, but lazy. This is one of those costumes that was funny the first time. If you’re the first or only person you know to wear this you can pull it off. But if you’re the second to wear it, the joke will already be old. You can try to play it cool by “poking” or “making friends” with the other facebook costumes, but good luck. PS. if you’re myspace, you’re either a band, or stuck in the past 3 years ago. My advice – go as something original that noone uses like orkut.
